After a summer of some freakin' horrible movies (one word: Sahara), here are a few that sound promising! Thank God!

Stay (October 14)
A psychologist (Ewan McGregor) at an elite East Coast university works to try to prevent the suicide of one of his patients (Ryan Gosling), whose strange predictions for the future keep coming true.

Domino (October 14)
Domino Harvey (Keira Knightley), a former model who is the daughter of actor Laurence Harvey, leaves her life of luxury in Beverly Hills to become a bounty hunter. (Note: Also stars Christopher Walken, Lucy Liu, Macy Gray (?!), Mena Suvari, and Mickey Rourke.)

Derailed (October 21)
A married advertising executive (Clive Owen) finds that his life is thrown into chaos simply because he missed his morning train to work. (Note: Sounds suspiciously like "Sliding Doors" with Gwyneth Paltrow. However, Clive Owen is HOT, HOT, HOT, and Jennifer Aniston deserves some love right now, so I'll try to make it to the theater for this one.)

Rent (November 11)
Based on Jonathan Larson's award-winning Broadway musical, the film chronicles a group of New York artists struggling with identity and artistic integrity in an HIV-positive world.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (November 18)
Our young hero Harry Potter is now 14 years old and is set to leave his Muggle relatives in a couple of weeks to return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
